The ICO can fully serve as a stepping stone for start-ups by discovering, fostering, and promoting excellent business items related to blockchain technology, including cryptocurrency, which is attracting attention as a core technology in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. However, if you look at the recent progress of overseas and domestic ICOs, you can easily see cases where ICOs are being abused as a tool for illegal fundraising. We need to pass on a more secure and transparent market ecosystem to the next generation. This ICO international standard guideline is intended to discuss items that must be confirmed when participating in ICO. I expect this study will serve as a guideline for participating in ICO participation.
